Tijdens het Mobile World Congress 2011 kwam je het op iedere stand wel tegen: het besturingssysteem Android van Google. Maar de topper op het MWC was toch wel de stand van Android zelf inclusief heel veel Android poppetjes, een heus glijbaan maar vooral heel veel Android apps. Ik ben opzoek gegaan naar de acht leukste. Google Body Ze hebben bij Google de afgelopen jaren natuurlijk al heel veel in kaart gebracht, nu hebben ze hetzelfde gedaan met het menselijk lichaam. Met Google Body kan je in 3D zien wat er onder je huid zit; met een prachtige interface scroll je door bloedvaten, spieren, organen en botten heen. Het was al beschikbaar op de browser, maar nu ook op Android tablets. Waze Social media meets navigatie, dat is Waze. Deze leuke navigatieapplicatie begint steeds meer op een serieuze applicatie te lijken. Met uitstekende crowd source kaarten en prima turn-by-turn navigatie maar ook de mogelijkheid om met medeweggebruikers te chatten is het de leukste manier van navigeren. Binnenkort komt Waze met een update waarin uitgebreide verkeersinformatie beschikbaar wordt inclusief widgets met schattingen van aankomsttijd rekening houdend met files en opstoppingen. CardioTrainer en Calorific Nu zijn het nog twee afzonderlijke apps, maar straks worden ze bij elkaar gevoegd: CardioTrainier en Calorific. Met CardioTrainer hou je precies bij hoeveel je beweegt en met Calorific wat je eet. Na de combinatie kan je deze apps gebruiken om eetpatronen af te stemmen op beweging en …
