If I want to describe the TriPot I in one word, the most appropriate word would be “Smart”, than “Simple” and finally “Friendly”. I am using this pot for some days already and I will try to explain the pot from each of these three aspects.
From : Greenamic [Buy it here]

Smart
TriPot I is not just a traditional planter, the stylish and innovative construction of the pot is backed with the intelligent feature of taking care of the plant by itself. Just filling the reservoir with water will let you forget about watering your plant for up to 8 weeks. This feature of TriPot I would be very handy for me since I travel around so frequently and from now on, I can travel without the horrible nightmares of getting my loving plants killed.

Simple
The design of the planter pot is not something out of the world, but the shiny finish along with three leg standing appearance makes it quite noticeable whether I put it in the corner of my garden or in the corner of my bathroom as an accesories. The inner pot can easily be removed and inserted. Also, using the pot is easy too.
Friendly
The pot is completely maintenance free and offers easy usability, trainability and most of all, reliability, which in tern will save a lot of my time, while giving me the mental peace of having my plants healthy.

Overall Pros
- Eliminates the wastage of water and fertilizer that we can see in traditional planter pots.
- Reduces the possibility of over or under watering, keeping the soil well-balanced all through the year.
- Water-level indicator tells me when I have to refill water.
- Surprisingly, it helps reducing mosquitoes.
Overall Cons
- Even though polypropylene, the material has been used to craft the TriPot I is super durable, the pot doesn’t look sturdy.
- They need to design the water opening bigger.

When power would be the most concerned issue for future civilization, designing energy efficient product is not enough; rather, power generating systems that can transform natural energy into usable power is more important. Aard concept combines a wind and solar power accumulating system into a sleek and simple product with a goal to contribute to the future power requirements.
This concept with a round shape features flexible photovoltaic modules that can accumulate solar power during daytime, also when wind gets strong, the ball starts with spin and produces electricity through the dynamos with each of the eight wings. The aluminum construction with basic blue color have given the product a beautiful look that can complement to the urban architectural environment as well as areas that are covered by nature. Moreover, the round shape of the product eliminates the need of turn and adjusting it according to the direction of sunshine.

The eco-friendly tree planting robot as its creator named it, is a four legged planting robot. This robot is equipped with a planting arm and a planting head. The legs of the robot reduce the pressure applied on the forest floor and allow the machine to be smaller, while still being able to move through tough terrain. Today, most parts of the forestry industry in Sweden is completely mechanized. Planting, on the other hand, is mainly done by hand. In this way, deforestation is more rapid then the replanting process. This is a hard work and getting increasingly difficult to find willing labors. The existing planting machines developed throughout the years are still inefficient and inflexible. These machines are big in size and function, creating a strain on the environment which is not necessary. The tree planting robot, designed by Anna-Karin Bergkvist prepares the planting spot in an environmentally friendly way by using hot steam to kill competing vegetation. The seedling is planted with a protective barrier made of biodegradable plastic.
Designer: Anna-Karin Bergkvist

This barrier protects the seedling from bugs, without the use of toxic insecticides. The engine is steam based, being fueled by forestry waste, like wood chips or pellets. Steam engine allows the cooling process to be made with water instead of oil. The robot has a seedling ramp on the back which allows it to carry up to 320 in one single load. The seedlings are fed one by one to the front of the robot, where they are loaded onto a revolving cartridge on the planting head.

When the cartridge is full, the arm extends to plant the seedling in a pattern around the robot. After all the seedlings in the cartridge have been planted in the area where the arm can reach, it retracts to pick up more. This process allows the robot to move in a different area and continue the reforestation process until all the seedlings on the load ramp have been given a spot to grow in. The robot is transported to the planting area in a trailer, that also contains the seedlings, fuel and water.
When the robot has consumed all of its seedlings, it returns to the trailer for a refill. The trailer acts as a portable service station for the robot, the refueling and refilling is done automatically. The tree planting robot is indeed a nature’s ally, helping fast reforestation outcome the deforestation.
