Due to the lack of efficiency and less user-friendly operations, many airborne rescue missions are getting failed. To ensure complete success in saving lives, AIRO is envisioned to be deployed from the coastguard helicopters and rescue the survivors by hoisting them from the water. This concept comprises inflating bags that can be controlled through compressed air and fastening the victim from the site in both normal and rough weather conditions. The ultimate operation point of AIRO enables the swimmer to be in complete control while giving maximum support to the survivors by minimizing the complexity. Below the ring, a set of LED spotlights have been incorporated that helps the survivors to locate the device easily even in dark, snow, rain or fogy condition. Carbon fiber has been used to craft the main structure that has made it durable and lightweight for superior functionality.
