Steve marx of Microsoft explains what the Windows Azure platform is and the benefits it brings to host new cloud applications and move legacy systems into the cloud.
In this interview, we chat with Cory Fowler, one of the developers from Innosphere.ca. Cory was a speaker at Confoo, and his presentations focused on Windows Azure and how developers can use it for their cloud computing projects. Amongst other things, Cory shared with us what he sees as some of the key advantages that Windows Azure has over Google App Engine and Amazon’s hardware — namely that Windows Azure offers developers more flexibility because it supports more languages.
